「This was a 5-star stay except for the checkout. I got to my room at 11:01 to collect my suitcase and had been locked out. When I told the desk clerk that I didn’t think it was right to lock people out, she refused to apologize and said “checkout is at 11.” She then gave me a one-time use key that didn’t work. Luckily the room cleaner recognized me and let me in. My room was at the opposite end of the resort so all this was pretty inconvenient. 」

「The room in general was nice. However when we went to sleep the pillows had a bad scent. Also, we took some time to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The water seemed gloomy and looked dirty.」

「Scent sensitive people, beware. They use scented detergent on their linens, if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff. The staff was great at fixing my issues, but I took a refund and left after one night. When I arrived, the common area and the room was over 80 degrees. It took hours and several phone calls to work through the issue. I was moved to another room but the heat issue persisted. It wasn't until 3 am that the room finally got to 70 degrees. 「Hall carpet had holes in it, I’ve had better breakfasts at other Hampton I have stayed at, bed extremely hard and pillows extremely flat. Just not like my stays at other locations. 」
