Excellent location between the Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz, easily walkable to both. Clean though spartan facilities. Breakfast is nice though not overwhelming. Not having full time staff means being flexible is a plus.

Good budget hotel close to Munich central station. Good comfortable ensuite bedroom. The soundproofing of the windows could be better for occasional noisy groups outside on the street.

This was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do in Munich: Oktoberfest, tours, sightseeing, and an amazing variety of diverse cuisine. We loved being so centrally located and right next to the main train station which made it super easy to get everywhere easily. Our room was cleaned every single day, and housekeeping deserves ALL the praise for their amazing work! We also really appreciated being able to drop off our luggage before our room was ready. That said, this was a very expensive hotel for what it was, but with Oktoberfest, I think that’s just part of what you get. For future travelers, just be aware that there is no A/C. Our room overlooked the courtyard, where other guests were up until all hours of the night (3AM our first night!). Since we had to keep the windows open to stay cool, cigarette smoke from the courtyard would also drift right into our room. Definitely something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a quiet night’s sleep and fresh air. Other than that, we had a good stay and really enjoyed the location!
