「Ooit was dit waarschijnlijk een mooi landhuis op een mooi landschap. Nu is het vergane glorie, en een waar spinnenparadijs. En het is bijzonder dat je het verblijf “bed & koffie” noemt terwijl er geen koffie aanwezig is in de accommodatie. En ook geen toiletpapier trouwens. Dus eerst naar een winkel om koffie en toiletpapier te halen. Voor ons zeker geen tweede keer hier naar toe.」

「The staff at the property were super friendly, and really seemed to enjoy interacting with children. They took their time to help with queries you had and never made you feel rushed. Really great team, thank you once again for making our stay memorable. Breakfast was very good, only slight downside is that there was no toaster. The pillows were very high, and there weren't any flatter alternatives in the wardrobe. I asked the housekeeping team for a flatter pillow and they provided me with one....

「The room was clean and spacious. We loved the bar, kids areas, and bar staff was very friendly. Within a 10-15 minute walk to the front gate of Efteling, and drive-able to other restaurants and shopping. We loved having a market directly beneath the hotel. We just wished there was at least a mini refrigerator and/or microwave in the room. We bought some perishables (cheese, meats) from the market and couldn't store them anywhere cold. 」

「Room was excellent, only very slight issue was a sticky mark on one of the bedside tables, but that was minor in the grand scheme of things. Decent size room, heating was required as outside temp was cold and it worked well. Shower and bathroom excellent, and the bed is the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on - wish I could get one shipped back to the UK! Bar area is warm and welcoming and the staff were all excellent, gladly speaking English as I couldn’t speak Dutch unfortunately. Aisha on...
