"This was one of the Best motels I’ve ever stayed at and I travel a lot on business. What first impressed me upon pulling in was how clean the outside looks. You can tell they are very clean people and take pride in their business. Once walking in I was even more impressed with the cleanliness of the room. I could not find one thing wrong with this room and that’s a rarity these days. It’s close to the Deckers Flea Market, Field of Woods, and so many consignment shops. I smoke but never in a room so to have two chairs right outside each door was the topping on the cake. I sat outside and just relaxed watching the traffic go by. I also met the owner/manager and he was so helpful with anything I could have needed. The cleaning staff was also amazing, very mindful of making sure I had all I needed. You can tell by all the small extras in the room, these are very thoughtful people as to want their guests happy and want to return. And I can assure you this will be the only location we will stay at when we are in or near the area. A+"

"The cabin is outdated. The sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on. It has a pad under the cushions for support. The creek is inaccessible and more of a drop off. The reason for picking this property was for access to the creek. Keep in mind that it is outdated and not a real creek, everything else was nice. We enjoyed our stay but disappointed in the creek. Roku is the very basic and had streaming issues. The Murphy area was perfect. The people were very friendly."

"This is a very peaceful and relaxing property for those who wish to slow down and appreciate nature and time with family. There was a small hiccup at check-in, in that the cleaners either didn't show up or missed the primary bed and bath, but a call to the host was quickly returned and all was rectified satisfactorily within a day. The stream on site was so calming to listen to and cooling to dip my feet in while reading a book. I also enjoyed listening to the rain while relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was fully equipped to make meal making at home easy."

"I trust Hampton Inn to provide a confortable, pleasant experience. In Murphy, NC we were not let down. The staff from the front desk (when I had a question) to the delightful breakfast (prepared by the lovely Linda) were courteous and kind in true Southern style.
