Just OK
House was location, floor plan, screen porch, hot tub, pool was great. There were 3 problems with the house: cleanliness, condition of furniture and walk to the beach. As far as being clean, there was mold in one of the showery, the bedspreads appeared old, worn and I question if they were every washed. I did like how the linens and towels were packaged after washing. The carpet had multiple stains( there should never be carpet around sand). The furniture was old and drab except for the family room. The mattresses need to be thrown away. There was only 1 pool lounger, the other one was broken(needs to be more pool furniture). Of all the rockers on the front and back porches, only 3 were safe to sit in and rock. 1 was broken and turned upside down in the corner of the porch. The walk to the beach was difficult for our children. The path wasn’t maintained or wide enough. The dead plants were like spears on their feet and legs leaving several scratches. It should be widened or provide decking like most of the surrounding houses did. The kitchen was nice and stocked well but need to have access to the pantry. We had to move a lot of dishes just to put groceries somewhere. I assume the problems were because the owners had checked out since the house was sold. However, for the cost of a week stay, it should be on better condition. Hopefully, the new owners will address the problems.
