Hickory Nuts is a five-bedroom, three-bath channel-front classic beach cottage located 0.9 miles south of the Garden City Pier, and across the street from the beach. This home features a fully-equipped kitchens complete with all electric appliances including a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and coffee maker, a dining area with seating for eight, and two living rooms (one up, one down). Other amenities include washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Four cable TVs, DVD player, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Wet Bar and refrigerator available downstairs. Sleeping accommodations include four queens and two twin-sized beds. Two of the five bedrooms are located downstairs. Outdoor amenities include private floating and stationary docks, enclosed shower, two sundecks, and ample parking (some covered). Dog-friendly. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
