Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the condo!!! Garden City Realty is very accommodating!!! The only problem we experienced is with the security guy at One Ocean Place. We have been coming to this place since 1989. We have been here every year since 2008. He is very rude and harassing people that used the codes to get through the gates to the beach. There are only 2 fobs in each room and the phone app did not always work. He was asking young girls their room numbers which is creepy. Threatening to disable their codes. A lot of people were very upset with him!

Overall cleanliness good however saw MULTIPLE cockroaches every day and had to deal with the massive inconvenience of having to chase and get rid of them while on vacation. Kitchen understocked.

The beds are more than comfortable...the kitchen, while not stocked well, was first rate. The stainless steel refrigerator was one of the largest I’ve ever seen. Our family of 70+ have been going to Surfside/Garden City for over 45 years. I knew Ocean One was here...just didn’t know what it had to offer. From one beach to another - don’t pass up the chance to vacation here.

Had trouble with the hot water. No one ever came to look at it. Could have been cleaned better. Dust bunnies under beds, side tables and furniture in livingroom. Rugs need vacuumed.

Beautiful view...loved the remodel of the kitchen and both showers.Master bed extremely uncomfortable, would recommend a new mattress as well as more updated TV's in master and living room. We were never notified that they were completing a pest inspection. It would have been nice to be notified in advance that this would be occuring and that they would need access to the unit. Would also recommend a Swiffer (would be much easier to clean up sand and dust).

Beautiful condo!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is very pretty, is well-appointed and has a great view. The Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom was very comfortable (I LIKE a firm bed so it was great for me). My brother & sister-in-law stayed in the King room and she said the bed was too hard for her and made her back ache. The only 3 things we had other problems with were (1) getting the TV to come on. The maintenance guy had to come up and tell us that a wall switch had to be turned on before you could turn the TV on. The switch is not marked so, how were we to know? The owners need to leave instructions and/or tag the switch. (2) The faucet in the kitchen needs to be replaced. It looks fine but will not operate properly and made a horrible noise, at times. (3) The temperature of the shower water (especially the one off the Queen bedroom) fluctuates from really cool to really hot when taking a shower. I would set the temperature I wanted before I got in the shower; then, it changed constantly while I was in there. I've stayed in several different condos over the years at One Ocean Place and have never had this problem before. Don't know if it affects just that unit or is a problem for all the units this year. All things considered, we had a very nice time but, would probably not stay in this unit, again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was great. My husband and I have stayed at OOP for many years and have always been satisfied until now. We went to the beach Sunday,when we returned to the condo our door was unlocked and opened. We were sure we had locked the door. I called the office and spoke with someone in maintenance. She said she would check into it and call me back. I never heard a word from anyone. I was very disappointed no one called me back. To me security is a big deal. At night we put a chair in front of the door for security. I felt like it wasn't a big deal to anyone but us.

Family vacation fun! With little sleep..

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation overall, enjoying plenty of beach time and local attractions and restaurants. Barefoot landing, Broadway at the Beach, Murrell's inlet, Myrtle Beach etc. Having come down to Surfside for over 30 years and staying in various condos I knew what to expect and my way around. This condo itself was very impressive on the inside compared to many, offering a modern kitchen, expansive living area and deck and nice bathrooms. That being said, we would not stay here again due to some obvious unit oversights. Paying as much as we did, we, or anyone, should expect the same level of comfort if not more, than staying in a hotel. That was not the case however. Of note, and beyond the unit owners' control is the parking garage. There were just barely enough spaces, and many of the spaces are unusuable by any normal size car due to pillars right in them. Renters be advised if you drive a tall SUV/truck or plan on bringing a roofbox you are out of luck. You will not be able to use nearly all of the spots or even drive into the garage.As for the unit itself, owners' take note: the floor was not very clean upon arrival, swept a bit perhaps but not cleaned at all, dust and debris in various places. The TVs are laughably out of date, especially with new LED 4k units costing next to nothing these days. The master bath really needs a head on a hose so that the user can detach it and wash away the sand and salt buildup that became a large nuisance. Above all else, the master bed itself needs to be repalced, trashed, immediately. We nearly went home early due to it's discomfort (my Father who was staying nearby actually did so for the same reason). It is not only rock hard, has some kind of heat trapping liner on it but the box spring creaks so loudly and excessively that no one can sleep very well. It was very upsetting honestly, as my girlfriend and I always awoke needing more sleep. So with some needed upgrades, yes we would come back or recommend this con
