Great location but very dirty.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here last year and it was not very clean when we arrived. We decided to give it a second try this year because the location is great. Again it was not clean, we won’t be back. The floors had so much dog hair on them that the first day walking around in socks, they were covered. I’m fine with some dog hair as i have dogs but it is bad when everything is covered including furniture/furniture pillows. Showers were not clean, one still had soap and razors in it.

Reviewer Comments: House was great,up to date ,you could see ocean and close to cross walk( but people don't stop almost hit 2 times in 4 days).everything work. Bob was great,l call him 3 or 4 times still told me call anytime. Missing in housekeep was great I left item in room she had someone to get it and call me back within hour .

Great Location!

Beach access was right across the street and a very short walk to the pier, shops and a few restaurants. The pool was very nice as well.The house has vinyl flooring throughout which was convenient when coming in from the beach and also having a dog with us. Very nice washer and dryer.The only thing I can say that needs approved upon is the living room furniture. The couch was worn and not comfortable at all! Thankfully the loveseat was better. There were a few minor issues with the tub drains but thankfully that was taken care of by maintenance.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was dog friendly we understand that but there was dog hair everywhere. Couch cushions were not vacuumed just overturned to hide the dog hair. I vacuumed the cushions and put bed sheets over the couches to prevent all the dog hair from getting on our clothes. We also had to rewash the dishes because of dried food on them. The bed comforters were also covered in dog hair along with other things. Also had sand on floor throughout the downstairs when we arrived. We stayed at a pet friendly place last year same location different property and that was very clean. We will be back next year just a different house. Thank you.

Lovely Vacation Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family loved this vacation home! It was the perfect size for our family, great location to the Garden City pier, and local stores! The home was stocked with the essentials which made our stay even more enjoyable! We travel with our Old English Sheepdog and this owner was kind enough to allow him to stay even though he was over the weight limit! We had a wonderful week! The only negative was not being about to get into the house until past 5pm and then finding it not as clean as we would have thought it would have been due to the delay.

A Great Paws

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying in this group of houses, the first time at Pierside Paws. We really enjoyed our stay. A very well-kept house, beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the small details like plenty of drying hooks for towels and laundry baskets in the bedrooms. Our kids enjoyed getting to play the retro Nintendo games. The only "complaint" we had was wishing there was a broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand from the beach.
