Very nice and roomy. Great location a short walk to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has everything you need. Very roomy, kitchen could use a little updating but nothing to really worry about. Heat and A/C worked well. Huge back porch is a plus. We rented this for a guy's golf outing and it was perfect. Would work for large families also. Only drawback is that is not right on the ocean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family enjoyed almost everything about SEAGRASS. The pool was fantastic, the location great but there were a few things not so great. The house was nice enough plenty of bathrooms, and bedrooms. The only thing was you couldn’t sit out at night for the bats swooping above your head. There was a large rat that had ate a place in the corner to get in. After that things were not so great. It would be a perfect spot if not for the bats and rodents.

Already booked for next year. The property could use a good thorough cleaning. The windows could be cleaner, between the cushions of thr couch and love seat need to be cleaned but overall a great place to stay.

The kitchen well stocked with most everything you could need.The only downsides were the lack of umbrellas to use at the tables om the deck and at the pool and the mattress on the queen size bed seems to dip into the middle. Have already booked for next year. Love this property.

Great getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third year coming to Seagrass and once again, it did not disappoint! Only a block and a half from the Ocean (you can still hear the waves from the deck), it takes no time at all to walk there. We enjoyed the wildlife in the pond at the side of the house while hanging out on that wrap around deck. The private pool was loved by all nine of us almost everyday except for the day Hurricane Idalia came into town, but Garden City Realty was very proactive in keeping us up to date with info on what to do as the storm came in. The house had everything we needed to stay in (kitchen supplies, board games, tv's for movie time) or go out (location is minutes away from most all attractions). Oh, and we had to call once for maintenance and they were there in no time - very prompt and friendly service!All in all, we have found our annual oasis and are very grateful to the owner and Garden City for offering up this property!

Wonderful Time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week here! The location was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool; it is a great size with lots of chairs and tables. The shelf was a perfect spot for our youngest to sit and play. My kids loved all of the wildlife in and around the pond, geese, ducks, herons, turtles and fish that jumped constantly! The grill and tables were great to use for lunch and jumping back in pool. Beach access was 2 min away and the playground we visit when we come was less than 10. The kitchen is very well stocked. I was so glad to see plastic kid bowls and plates. There was plenty of cookware. We sat on the deck upstairs and relaxed in the early morning and evening. There is a gate to close off the stairs so that was helpful with young kids. The house is nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The only negatives (that will not deter me from renting again honestly) are that the washing machine and AC are incredibly loud. There was no doing laundry at night, I tried to make sure we would be mostly outside when it was on. When the AC came on, it felt great but conversation or TV volume definitely had to go up to compensate. The house is older so the doors do stick and can be hard to close. We had an issue our last night and had to call maintenance out to help. When were finally able to get through, a person came quickly and was friendly and efficient in correcting our problem. It was an after hours call, so the we had to use the emergency number who basically just tried to take a message for when the office opened. We were finally able to get them to understand that 1) this is the emergency line, we would not call if it was not needed right away. 2) It was our last night and we needed to leave before the office opened. It's an emergency line, do not tell people to wait until the next day.That didn't really affect our stay, just frustrating in the moment. We would stay here again for sure!!

Location was perfect - we especially loved that the cottage sets off the road -- it made us feel just a little more secluded AND there was ample parking (4 cars and 2 golf carts? No problem!) Kitchen was WELL STOCKED! Dishes, utensils, pots, pans - everything was in great shape (even the knives were sharp!!) The pool. You see the pictures? Yep, that's right - what an oasis!! The deck and view of the pond? Wonderful! Loved watching all the wildlife! Will we return?? You betcha!There was a wasp nest under the house when we arrived. I told Garden City Realty and someone was out within the hour! Love the staff!
