"The economy room we started in was in an older part of the building. The AC unit wasn’t working and the windows were painted shut. The staff handled this quickly and upgraded us to a better room. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was amazing. I will stay there again as it is affordable for one night in Anchorage, but I will request a deluxe room. We also saw a needle in the area right beside the sidewalk, which we reported to staff and we saw them dispose of it appropriately. Overall, it’s an older hotel with an awesome staff."

"The property is a little bit older, but is right on the lake where you can see float planes, landing and taking off. The staff was friendly. The free shuttle to the airport and downtown was great. Room was very spacious and comfortable."

"We had stayed at the Captain Cook the night before, but due to last minute changes to our itinerary, they couldn't accommodate a longer stay. So we booked the Voyager. It was clean and has been updated although it is an older property. Had access to Captain Cook amenities which was super helpful. Staff was nice and helpful. Convenient location. Not a 5 star resort but a lot less people than the Cook."

"The room was spacious, clean and quiet. I did hear the plumbing from upstairs but got used to it. Super convenient location downtown. Only a few minutes ride to the railroad depot. I would stay here again."
