The mattress has a spring poping thru and the balcony was covered in pigeons and pigeon poop. I think is because unit offers more covered area than the rest. I really wanted to enjoy time on the balcony... GUESS NOT. The mattress need to be replaced ASAP!!! There are too many choice in the area to have to deal with sub par basics. The staff were nice and the room was clean and cool in the heat.

No the experience we were expecting…

Check in time was at 4. We went there and called back at 6 room still wasn’t ready, and they promised to call .. we weren’t able to take showers etc before dinner and finally got into our room around 10 Pm … the floors were not swept… there was hair all over the floor , used chewing gum in the floor beside the bed table etc… kinda a sad experience for the price you pay

Birthday Vacation

The room was great! The pools and the entire facility was kept up nicely. The only problem we had was the fact that the DVD player was not connected and the remote for the TV was not programmed for the DVD player. I found the cord down behind the entertainment center and plugged it in and then found the instructions online to program the remote. While this was frustrating and I have no idea why this was not checked prior to out check in, it was not hard to do, just frustrating. When we discovered the issues we were ready for bed so we didn't want to call the desk at this time. There was also a light bulb missing. It was a night stand lamp and I wasn't familiar about the switches on the base of the Kamp and reached up to turn it on and ended up with my finger in the bulb socket. I was happy it was off but it could have been dangerous. They came and put a bulb in the lamp and replaced a blown bulb in the bathroom. These seem like petty things and were just frustrating for the most part. This was our 2nd visit with the Patricia Grand and actually stayed in the same room both times. Thr main thing is that we wouldn't hesitate to go back a 3rd time! If you go you will be pleasantly surprised how nice it is and especially affordable!
