Great place to bring our pets!

The overall experience was great. The woman at check in was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to help us when our battery was dead. The woman that worked at the Starbucks and the cleaning people had a very poor attitude and no customer service skills.

Nice pet friendly hotel (no smells). Great ocean view rooms & indoor and outdoor pools. Breakfast available with a great view (extra charge for breakfast). Room clean , but bed worn down.

Girl Trip

We had a lovely time. Our oceanfront studio was perfect. The hammocks are great. Plenty of seating around the pool area. Staff was very helpful when needed. Do you seriously have to have 10 digit codes to enter your room? And the keypads are a little touchy. Sometimes we had to try several times to get in. Other than that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Worst Cleanliness I've seen at The Patricia

Loved finding panties under our bathroom sink at check-in. Loved finding Reece Cup wrappers in the dining room chairs. Loved finding mildew stains on our pillows-under the pillow case.

Great property

The property is very nice. The only issue we had was our unit was not very clean. Stove and microwave were dirty (dried food and grease). The floors were dirty with sand that hadn't been swept up. There were packed bars of hotel size soaps (in wrappers) all over the bathroom floor. One actually in the toilet. Once we cleaned things up, the room itself was very nice. The pool, gym and restaurants were really nice. We will stay again, but will definitely contact housekeeping in the future for any issues.

The cleanest place I have ever stayed in.

There were bumps and cracks in the wall. And the parking garage was to close to turn in to go up or down in. Other than that the stay was wonderful. The view from the apartment was not Oceanview. It was oceanfront. I didn't like that we didn't have a place to put dirty towels as we used them throughout the week. But it was so clean. Usually I have to take Clorox Clean-up to clean especially the tub. In most hotels all you have to do is spray it and watch the dirt run down the tub. Not here everything was spotless. They even left a broom and a dustpan so we could sweep up sand and other debri. It was very quiet, we never heard any noise from anyone else around us. We will definitely be staying here again.

Overall, really great!

The room was good size in the main area, but the kitchen area was cramped. I didn’t expect much because it was cheap and thankfully we didn’t have to use it much. I think if we had actually been cooking it may have been a little more difficult. Aside from that, the beds and main area was spacious and there was plenty of room for the three of us plus a dog. The balcony was a beautiful view of the ocean! Awful awful awful water pressure though. Little to nothing. The lazy river was only like 20 feet so it was pretty small, but the other pools were decent size. There were two small hot tubs outside and only one stayed hot, the other was freezing. Same with inside. Over all they were nice and most of the staff was friendly, but there were a couple ladies at the front who were rude while I waited for more towels. With housekeeping not coming to rooms because of COVID we had to go ask for more towels. No big deal, but the room only came with 2 originally and every time I went to get more they would only give me 2 at a time and said they were out. The walk to the beach was nothing. It is literally right there, which is perfect! It being a pet friendly place is awesome as well! The small grass area was clean and large enough size for several dogs to be out for the bathroom at once. The parking lot is across the road, which is fine, however almost all parking spots on level 1 are handicap so it’s hard to find a spot not handicap. There were quite a few spaces being filled with furniture also. It looked like they were cleaning the parking garage out, but it lost spaces for customers. Only thing I wish would have truly been different was if there was a pet area on the side closest to the elevators so that we didn’t have to walk all the way to the other side to take pets out and down to the beach. Even just a small grass walkway on the other side would be handy. Not a huge deal, only when the lobby was super busy was it annoying. Also wish the pool stayed open later than 11pm. Overall the room was great. Amazing view, right on the beach, pet friendly. Everything I was looking for. Would recommend for anyone!

Pictures deceiving

My kids loved the depth of lazy river and the kid pool. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice as were the hot tubs. The ocean view was nice too. The room was rather small and the bathroom was even smaller. We are not large people and it was very tight quarters maneuvering around the bathroom door to shut and access the tub. The water pressure in the shower was low as well.

We always stay @ The Patricia Grand because it is pet friendly. But this was the worst room we've stayed in over the past 10yrs. Tub drainage and kitchen sink drainage was extremely slow. AC needs replaced, back of AC fell off due to rust. Floor had not been mopped prior to check in. Housekeeping now sweeps rooms dirty floors out into the common areas for someone to vacuum. Until then, the guests must walk through other guests dirty Q tips, band-aides, dirt, etc etc. After seeing these conditions we are considering a different hotel for September.
