Outstanding view and location

We enjoyed our stay at Coral Cottage. The condo was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for an enjoyable weeks stay. Loved the ocean just steps away and the close availability of food and cocktails. We spent so much time on the balcony with that outstanding view from the sunrise to the beautiful moonlight shining on the ocean. The only negative I can say is it was very very hard to keep the floors clean. Even though we swept with the broom provided daily our feet were always dirty. Looking forward to booking this condo again.

Good place for family

We enjoyed our stay in Kozy Cottage! The owner is easy to talk to and the transaction went smoothly. They sent welcome packet that includes things you can do and places you can go! It was very helpful! We are not local from the area that's why this is really a plus. You also get the code to the room when you arrive. How convinient is that? We didn't have to check in at the front desk. We just went straight to our room. When we got there everything is clean and all the appliances are working. You can really feel KOZYness of the place 😉plus you have a breathtaking view of the North Atlantic Ocean. Oh yeah! it's right there in front you when you open the balcony. You will hear the waves while you just chill your room or watch Netflix, Starz,etc.. they have those too! You have direct access to the beach or heated indoor pool! Definitely recommending to my family and friends. 😊

Unanticipated Challenges

Our stay in Myrtle Beach was not without some challenges. The host was professional and courteous however some very important items were not disclosed during the booking process or room description. The unit seemed to be recently renovated and nicely appointed. Our issue was with the humidity and mold in the room. The front main door did not seal due to rust on the bottom on the metal frame. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling panels above the shower. There was also a de-humidifier in the room which needed to be changed daily. For a child with breathing issues, this was incredibly frustrating. The second issue was parking. No where in the literature did it specify that the parking garage was a max height of 6.8'. Our vehicle would not fit in the parking garage and there was no overnight parking outside of the garages. I had to parking our vehicle offsite and walk thru a not so pleasant area to get back to the hotel. Because of these two items, we had to find other accommodations for the final night in Myrtle Beach. The host did offer to send a handyman out to the property however that would not have alleviated the respiratory or parking issues. We did not ask for a partial reimbursement for the last night but considering the circumstances, it would have been a very fair gesture from the host.

Fabulous Condo Stay / Photos are as advertised!!

We received our access code via email before arrival, just as explained. Upon entering condo, were very happy to see the the condo was as pictured on VRBO! Everything was clean and modern, beautiful laminate flooring that was perfect for a beach stay, we were able to sweep all the sand we brought into condo. Beds were comfortable, we brought our own pillows, as we always do, pillows were also provided. Giant screen TV with access to Netlfix which was great for the kids. A giant sized dresser with deep drawers for keeping all your clothes on your stay. We loved the long narrow table with stools, the kids sat and played on their Nintendo Switch that we brought and ate their breakfast there. Was perfect addition to the one room condo. This condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. The greatest feature was the beachfront view right outside of the slider patio. We were on the 10th floor, and had no issues with howling wind, as we have had with other places we have stayed. They provided 4 comfy chairs on the patio, with 2 small tables, great for sitting and watching the ocean and listening to the waves! I felt the bathroom was a little small, as door just clears the toilet, but again that is something that really couldn't be helped as the size of the space is as built. We didn't use the kitchen utensils, as we brought paper plates and utensils so we wouldn't have to wash any dishes. So we did our breakfast in the condo and ate out for lunch and dinner. We spent most of our time by the pool and on the beach. The lobby has a pizza place and ice cream, also laundry which came in handy, and a small convenience store accessible through the lobby and game room. Parking was tough if came in later in the evening, but not anything in the control of the condo owner, but just wanted to give a heads up for future stays. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, everything was clean and as described. Our security deposit was returned within 2 days of check out, super fast. Location was great as were weren't in the center of Myrtle Beach, short drive to anything we wanted to do. There is a Starbucks a block away to walk to. Access to beach was super easy. Showers on walkway for beach access to rinse off after being in the sand. Communication was excellent, and if you wondering if you should stay here, the answer is yes. I know reviews can be hard to decide, This place was just as described. Thank you for a great Spring Break for our family.
