I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, Lisa at the front desk was great, upon check in I was told breakfast was served until 10am, however when I went to breakfast the next morning at 9am the food was basically gone, asked the restaurant staff and was told there was no more food, I checked my watch again and yes it was 9am!

There was a fire overnight that caused all guests to be outside for an hour and a half from 3:15-4:45. While I am grateful the alarms worked and the fire department was able to handle it, I feel the response (or lack thereof) was disappointing. There was zero communication- not a word in person from the employee during the event or a text, email, note under the door, etc. the next day. I’m surprised, I would have expected some sort acknowledgment and reassurance, even just “happy to report everyone was ok, we’re resolved the issue and don’t expect any further fires for the remainder of your stay”. Fire aside, the whole building had a dank musty smell and wasn’t the cleanest. Crumbs on the carpet, hairs on the sink. I wish I had read the reviews more closely vs just relying on the star rating as the two don’t seem to align.

Very dated property I’m guessing recently acquired by Hilton . Hallways dark and stained carpets. Room was clean. Staff was welcoming , friendly and very helpful. Breakfast area appeared renovated and was well stocked. Location was very convenient to walk to Old Mystik.

This is an older property that has been updated now under the Hilton umbrella. They did a great job. Very clean, nice room with comfortable beds, great staff, good breakfast and had a pool that was very clean. Close to all there is to see in Mystic. Was an excellent value! Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was perfect. Good options and nothing too crazy. The beds were comfortable. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Great location to most things. Everything is about a 4-20 minute ride away.

The hotel is conveniently located by I-95 and Old Mystic Village. Daily breakfast is simple but decent. The pool is nice. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. Tgere were a number of families staying here so I think it meets their needs.

It was an ok stay for a night. The walls are paper thin. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Had selections of bagels, muffins, fruits, cereals, juices, tea and coffee.

While the hotel itself was a bit dirty (the rugs, for example, could use a good vacuuming and cleaning), the staff was helpful and kind, and the hotel was affordable and in a great location.

The staff were lovely and the location was very convenient. Several restaurants and attractions were only minutes away. The facility was nothing special, but they allow cats and dogs, which was great. The breakfast was minimal, but it was included. My room had ants,whih was annoying, but I dealt with it.

The Spark hotel was perfect for our quick visit to Mystic CT. This is a very nice budget hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was very quiet. Admittedly this is a budget hotel - but it was perfect for our needs. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of bagels, muffins, dry cereal, juice, and coffee. Oh, and the location is great, on Rt 27 just north of I-95 in Mystic (exit 90). We would definitely stay here again.
