There are so many things to highlight: the free kimonos that everyone is wearing, complimentary drinks, complimentary ice cream after the amazing Onsen, complimentary massage chairs, complimentary Ramen soup in the evening and just a great overall atmosphere and attentive staff. You will not regret staying here, on the contrary it will be a unique experience. "

"A true and well located ryokan right next to Nara Park and 10 minutes walking from the Kintetsu train station. Wonderful experience incl the keitatsu dinner experience. Sleeping was ok as it’s more of a cushion than a mattress on the floor "

"The reception in the evening at our check-in was great, answered our questions with grace and warmth, was friendly with our young kids. The location and lounge were good too, however the breakfast left a lot to be desired, it was a bento box containing rice, salmon, a slice of egg, sausage, a piece of lettuce, and a burdock root salad... Making the experience fall short. Otherwise a good stay. "

"The breakfast though expensive was a unique experience for us. I recommend it for someone never tasted a genuine lavish Japanese breakfast. The bath facility was nice; definitely worth trying out. I liked the massage chair in the lobby as well. Everything worked as expected. My room was the smallest in the building but it still felt reasonably spacious. The staff was very attentive. I asked for help to arrange airport transport. They went above and beyond to make sure i got all the details right."

"We arrived late at night, and checked out the same night. Room was tired and dusty. Was promised a hot spring bath but it was cold. We had booked for 5 nights, we asked for a refund for the nights we didn't stayand they have ignored all requests and messages, from ourselves."
