The view from the room was magnificent, the staff was nice. Less than ten minutes walking from Nagahama station and also close to the Nagahama pier (where you may take the tourism steam boat to Chikubu island).
THIS HOTEL WAS ABIT PRICEY BUT WE HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY. THEY HAD ENGLISH SPEAKING FRONT DESK STAFF WHO WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. WE TOOK A ROOM FACING THE LAKE WHICH WAS SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. THERE WAS NOT MUCH ACTIVITY AROUND THE HOTEL AND ABIT OF DRIVING INVOLVED TO SEE THE AREA BUT IT'S IDEAL FOR CHILLING OUT AND A WALK ALONG THE LAKESHORE IN THE MORNINGS WAS VERY PLEASANT, EVEN IN SUMMER. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO STAY IN WHEN VISITING THE NORTHERN PART OF LAKE BIWA !
The hotel has a great Lake View, and located walking distance to Nagahama Port to visit Chikubu-Island via Ferry. We wish we knew they provide a free shuttle between hotel and Nagahama Station in advance. We did not check that when we booked the hotel.
Stayed 2 nights in May 2019
