Make your vacation dreams come true at South Colony Cottage! This adorable 4 bedroom, one level, newly renovated South Nags Head cottage is just a short stroll to the beach. If you enjoy outdoor living, this is the spot for you. There is a ground level tiki bar, putting hole, grill, plenty of seating, private outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, screened and sun porches! Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the undeveloped wildlife refuge from the back porch or backyard.
The 'H plan' layout inside is perfect for families and/or friends - 2 Jack and Jill bedrooms on each side of the open concept living/kitchen/dining space in the middle. There is a TV in the living room and each bedroom. South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. It is a residential only area surrounded by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Although it is quiet and non-commercial, it is only minutes from restaurants, retail and recreation. There is a 4.5 mile long multi-use path throughout South Nags Head that is perfect for running, walking or biking.

Great little house, very close to beach!

Very cute little place perfect for a family of four to 6 max. Great safe neighborhood, which in a quite part of nags head. About a 2 1/2 mile flat and easy bike ride to some restaurants and also the fishing pier nearby is the best. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights and a bar and restaurant which is really fun. The only negative is we found tons of tics in the house and on our dog and us on the last day of the trip. I think it’s because we left our dog in the backyard roaming attached to the provided extended leash. I would suggest people avoid letting your dog in the grass in June and let folks know this is a concern at your property. Also, the showers in the house have low pressure, apart from the outside shower (which was very nice)! Otherwise, we had a great time and would recommend this rental to others. Also, I called the rental number provided a hand full of times and only reached someone once. They did address my concern, but I could never reach them again.

My family absolutely LOVED this rental beach house. It was the perfect size for me and my husband, our three kids, and my mom. It was very clean and in a great location to beach access. The neighborhood was quiet and family friendly being in close proximity to activities such as: Bodie Lighthouse, Nage Head Pier, Jeanettes Pier, ice cream, local eateries, the outlet mall, mini golf, go-karts, Manteo...a convenient location for all.The house also included a very, very nice outdoor area under the house. Great usage of the space with a great outdoor showe4 and several places to hang towels and swimsuits. My kids enjoyed the little putting green, hammock, and the outdoor tv. It also had horseshoes and corn hole. We would rent this home again! 5 out of 5 stars for us!
