South of Stars is also located just a short drive away from shopping, convenience, and more. Head to Fish Heads Bar & Grill, a local and visitor favorite where you can grab a bite to eat or a cool drink while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A quick drive north will bring you to Jennette's Pier where you can learn all about the history of this iconic Outer Banks landmark. Grocery shopping at Food Lion and Fresh Market is also a 10-minute drive away, allowing you to make grocery runs during your stay easily. As a guest in the South Creek Acres community, you'll have access to the community pool, tennis courts, and pickleball courts for your convenience. Wonderful location & accommodations

We enjoyed our stay over New Year’s. The renovated house and location only a short block from the beach and ocean and away from the commercial district made our visit relaxing, comfortable, and meaningful. We also were close to the Pea Island NWR and other locations, which gave us terrific birding opportunities. Definitely worth considering for a repeat visit.
