"We have just returned from our wonderful holiday at this beautiful Gite in a lovely rural area of France. Amanda & Graham were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most relaxing stay with the use of their pool and sunbeds. The welcome gift of wine and treats was very much appreciated after our long drive from England. Easy access to the motorway is close by for day trips out. We particularly enjoyed visiting La Rochelle and Poitiers and doing everything French...

Zwembad super en werd goed schoon gehouden tijdens ons verblijf. Door de vele spullen en accessoires leek het lastig schoon te houden. Onbeperkt handdoeken en grote badlakens. "A notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par ce domaine et l'environnement naturel qu'il offrait. En apparence, un lieu paisible dans lequel nous pensions trouver un "havre de paix" en tout point. Cependant, le charme a été rompu par des aléas : SPA en travaux, non accessible, piscine fermée aux heures d'ouverture avec un petit mot à l'entrée "Il me semble que certains ne savent pas lire ! je suis à votre disposition pour des cours !", barbecues en réparation donc à partager, le chalet à peine...

Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "

"The week was wonderful. The location is wonderfully scenic and quiet and Thomas as host was brilliant - helpful and on hand to help manage the pool and share info about local activities and possible trips/places to visit. Very welcoming and friendly. The house was lovely - with plenty of space and everything you need to just unwind and relax. Evenings spent sitting outside under the stars were lovely. "
