“1. The cabin was awesome. It was spotless, had literally everything we needed plus more, had comfortable mattresses (very important for my back), was exactly as described, and was beautiful. “We had a nice stay overall. The place was clean and spacious but on arrival the door code did not work. This caused some initial anxiety obviously. It was handled fairly quickly. I had asked a property host before we booked if there was AC and was told yes.. 3 nights into the stay we discovered this was not true. It got very uncomfortable for sleeping. My husband has allergies that ceiling fans blowing dust etc irritate.Not sure if it was outright misleading or a mistake but got a half hearted……

“My brother and I stayed here for a few days in the spring as a nice break from work and to get in some fishing. The cabin is equipped with everything you need whether it be a short or long stay. What made the trip so memorable was getting recommendations from the owner Amy when she came to the cabin stoking the outside heater that piped in heat to cabin. Cannot over emphasize the need to do research on places to explore while there, because this cabin is in a very rural area. Amy's recommendations on where we should visit meant everything. “Mr. Hunter's cottage is a lovely cottage from a by-gone era. Located in the mountains of Giles county, VA, this cottage is comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cottage is furnished with pieces that could have been there when it was built. The cottage has a beautiful porch, a great place for morning coffee.
