I was not too enthused to find that I had to register for the room through a window, rather than being allowed into the counter. It made the whole experience feel sketchy. I was unable to access any sports on the TV, so I was not happy about that. Also saw no ice machine. The entire vibe of the area was rather a poor one, as I noticed bats on windows in several businesses. I do not intend to come here again.

This was an independent maw and paw motel, and I do appreciate folks who try to make a living this way. The entry and exit clerk were very nice although you could not get inside the lobby, having to deal with them through a window like at a Kroger gas station. The bed was firm, but I was able to sleep OK. The air conditioner was quiet, however, the locals enjoyed making excessive noise with their hopped up vehicles which frequently woke me up. (Not the motels fault, but due to its location.) No WiFi, no easy way to plug in the computer at the desk, no breakfast, no Kleenex, about 1/8 roll of toilet paper left. The bathroom floor looked new, so I think they are trying to improve an old roadside motel, but they have a long way to go. The price was way to high for the conditions, but compared to other overpriced options in the area, this just may have been reasonable. The previous night in Franklin TN was much nicer, and about $20 less expensive, even with the 20% sales tax. For a non-particular person, looking for a bare bones place to sleep, this would do.

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento fue muy negativa y quiero compartirla para que otros viajeros sepan qué pueden encontrar antes de reservar. Las fotografías del anuncio no reflejan las condiciones reales del lugar. La imagen de la fachada genera una expectativa muy distinta de lo que encontramos al llegar. También se muestra una sala de lobby, pero estaba cerrada y la atención se hacía a través de una ventanilla. Es una diferencia importante respecto a lo que uno espera al ver la publicación. La limpieza de la habitación era terrible. Lo más desagradable fue el olor: a pesar de que el alojamiento indica que está prohibido fumar, dentro había un olor a cigarrillo tan intenso que resultaba intolerable. Además, se sentía un fuerte olor a humedad. Era muy incómodo permanecer en ese ambiente y difícil sentirse a gusto. Avisamos al hotel sobre la situación desde nuestra llegada, a través de la plataforma de Expedia, pero nunca recibimos respuesta. La falta de atención ante una queja tan básica empeoró aún más la experiencia. Comparto esto porque, como viajera, considero fundamental poder confiar en las imágenes y la descripción de un alojamiento. Si hubiera conocido de antemano las condiciones reales, no lo habría elegido. La diferencia entre lo que se publica y lo que se encuentra al llegar es enorme y no debería pasar inadvertida para nadie. Recomiendo a quienes estén pensando reservar que tengan en cuenta estas observaciones. Personalmente, no volvería ni lo recomendaría.

Horrible hotel

This was the nastiest place i ever stayed in! A used condum was on the floor, the restroom smelled like a public restroom, and the sheets smelled horrible. I forfeited my money and left!

Front desk was polite but the rooms was disgusting. First room had used towels still wet laying on the tub. Stained and burned blankets (in a non smoking room mind you.) Got a new room and let’s just say it was even worse! Somebody’s socks was still in the bathroom!!! Housekeeping doesn’t exist at this place !

We appreciated that the room and bathroom were large. However, (1) there was a constant/strong smell of marijuana coming from a nearby room that we smelled each time we went to our rental car (our young child was with us); (2) as soon as we walked into our room there was a giant cockroach at the door, and in the evening my husband was up late and said he saw many cockroaches of all sizes come out during the night; (3) it appears there was a partial remodel of the room that stopped right at the bathroom area — would have been nice to have a completely remodeled room; and, (4) the bathroom needs a trash can. Also, the media source for the cable tv is called “lame” — they should really change this; it’s unprofessional.
