Christmas Vacation

My family celebrated Christmas at Turtle Time and really enjoyed ourselves. The check-in process was smooth and the house was even nicer in person. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was stocked well with dishes and cookware, and the view of the beach was perfect. Our first Christmas with our little one was special and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Fantastic family vacation!

House was beautifully de orated and had everything we needed. The location on the beach is absolutely awesome. Everything was clean and modern. Even the appliances were new! It was a great place to spend time with family and created lasting memories. We hope to return next year!

I recommend the place for everyone except seniors with knee and hip issues since the rental is three stories. First floor is the studio and one laundry room along with garage. Second floor is the main area with living and kitchen and 1 bedroom. Third floor has 2 more bedrooms. House was very clean and very up to date!

Fabulous location & home

Just finished a wonderful week with three generations of family. Two minute walk to the beach from the “backyard.” The efficiency downstairs was perfect for the son and DIL who like a little more quiet. Daughter and grandkids were very comfortable in the bedroom with king, trundle and futon/sofa. The master with the view was AMAZING. The refrigerator decided to die while we were there, and the management company was impressive with their immediate responses and multiple emergency technicians to assess the situation and get a new fridge in. We hope to be back!

I think our trip went well. The house was beautiful and very clean. The only issue was when my wife sank down into the bathtub and turned on the jets and was shot with nasty brown stuff that came out of the jets.... she wasn't very happy about it.

Turtle Time

Needs an overall improvement. Smells like mildew downstairs and upstairs. It needs a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at this unit. It is also the only unit nearby that doesn’t have a wooden walkway to the beach. The access goes in between overgrown grass from the dunes and makes it harder for packing items to the beach. On a positive note, the location is good and the checkin process was simple.

I was pleasantly surprised to find no animal hair anywhere inside the home, a rare find when you are searching for a pet friendly place with a dog who doesn’t shed. End of Summer Relaxation

I typically book beach vacations many months in advance but the opportunity for one last getaway presented itself and we jumped on the chance. This home was everything we needed and more. It was exceptionally clean, nicely furnished, and felt incredibly spacious! The bedrooms were especially nice since many other homes have very small bedrooms full of extra beds. Even the room that could sleep 6 didn't feel cramped. Being able to bring along our small dog made the visit even more special. He enjoyed the fenced outdoor area and taking walks across the street. We appreciated the welcome gifts and wonderful communication from Blue Moon.

The house itself is definitely older and some things are outdated like the bedrooms and the separate room downstairs was a little odd, I didn’t realize it was completely separate. My only complaint is the master main bedrooms bathroom shower was a jacuzzi tub that they converted into a shower. It’s not the easiest to get into and kind of dangerous for someone elderly or young. And the fan in the bathroom didn’t really do anything to help with the moisture when you showered. There was always water everywhere from the humidity. The house could use a dehumidifier. Overall the house has everything we needed for our family gathering. The condo rental company was very kind and helpful. And you can’t beat being in the beach. We made great memories.

Reviewer Comments: Anyone renting this property for a beach getaway cannot go wrong.It was unbelieveably clean, well furnished,organized and very spacious.You simply can't beat the views whether on the lower or upper deck or on the beach itselfBeach is super clean and wasn't really crowded at allBlue Moon Realty was over the top and knows what service is all about. From the moment I booked the trip back in June all the way through the day I checked out they delivered a Five Star experience.Ran into a small issue with the main floor slider doors and left them a message at 7:30am on a Saturday which is before the office actually opens. At 8:25am I got a call from the office telling me the maintenance guy, Tim I believe, was at the front door. He was in and out in about 15 minutes and did what he needed to do with out waking up a single soul. The only thing to be aware of is there are only a few restaurants that are on the island and, being October, they do close a little earlier than you might expect. Of course you do have restaurant choices off the island as well.Thank you Blue Moon for everything!Easy access to the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The town house was beautiful and impeccably clean. The view gorgeous and just steps away from the beach. Super easy check in and out. Just a few things to mention that if fixed it would literally be the perfect place. First in the master bedroom there was no way to control the volume on the tv with the remote. You had to get up and manually turn the speaker down. Second, the hair dryer shocked me when I turned it on. Third and most importantly was the master bed mattress was absolutely horrible! Don’t know if it is just really old or just an awful brand but it would sink down like a memory foam but at the same time turn rock hard where you couldn’t even roll over in it. I have never slept in something that bad before. Last, checkout time is 9:00am. Way too early.

Great Place for Big Groups

There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out, and the big kitchen, living room, and amazing porch made it super easy to relax together. The view was absolutely gorgeous, and having two laundry rooms was a lifesaver. We were so grateful to be able to check in early. The only negatives were the floors felt a little sandy upon arrival and the 9am checkout was a bit brutal. Overall, we loved it and would definitely come back!
