"Condo was very nice, and very clean. Our only issue was that we arrived after dark, and the stairs going down to entrance were rather dark. The check-in was a little confusing. The guest services referenced in check-in instructions is actually 1.5miles away from the property. "We love Rumbling Bald Resort. There is a ton to do there with kids (indoor/outdoor pool, miniature golf, beach). The unit was nice and the description/photos were accurate. The location was easy to get to inside the resort. We did not get starter samples of soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, etc even though the description said we would. "If you're looking for the Waldorf Astoria, this ain't it! Still I give it high marks and look forward to returning. The room was comfortable and practical. We had everything we needed. The price was reasonable - especially for "pet friendly" and the hosts, Sam and Mita, made us feel like we were staying with family. This area was hit hard by Hurricane Helene and a few items still need a little "tightning up" such as pot holes at the hotel entrance, but the massive efforts on post hurricane renovation are also evident. As stated, we'll be back!"

"Breakfast was bad coffee, cold cereal, and stale muffins. Otherwise, a friendly, comfortable stay. But if this is the best they can do for a breakfast, they would be better off to drop the breakfast altogether and offer just coffee made fresh NOT FROM THAT AWFUL MACHINE. Our stay would have been 5 star had they not offered that yucky breakfast."

"Our only real complaint would be the servers in the restaurants. Our fortieth anniversary dinner in the Chalet Restaurant was dampened by a distracted waitress that had to be asked numerous times for water and cocktail napkins for our glasses that were sweating all over our table and dripping on our clothes. Our food came to us lukewarm so we didn’t even stay for dessert. Our first night there I made reservations for The Pub not knowing they only had high top tables which are not comfortable for one of us due to a medical condition. The hostess told me we couldn’t be seated in the Taproom because that was not what I reserved. When I questioned our server about it she said it was because there was only one server in the Taproom and when I pointed out that serving only had two people seated in that area she pretty much just ignored me. Besides our dining experiences we loved Switzerland Inn. We loved our view and our balcony!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our large family to spread out and relax. We especially enjoyed gathering on the screened-in porch for game night, it quickly became one of our favorite spots in the house.The location on the lake was perfect for enjoying the water. We loved paddling around the quiet cove near the boat dock and spending time together outdoors. The house provided a great balance of comfortable indoor space and opportunities to enjoy the lake.Our hosts were helpful, responsive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this lake house to families looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to spend time together. We hope to return again soon!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety of choices. Everything was pleasant from beginning to end. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to other travelers!"
