Baker Street Central - Balcony With Incredible Mountain View
BAKER STREET LODGE - 2 brand new condominium units right in the heart of downtown Baker Street available for short term rentals. Both architecturally designed 2 bedroom units are made available for use individually or combining them for larger groups. The convenience of being located directly up the stairs from our dynamic Baker Street, only steps to amazing shopping, great restaurants, brew pubs and nightclubs, coffee shops makes these units ultra convenient for tourists, and locals alike.
Our building is the first Baker Street building that has added a new floor since the 1960's. These are not renovated condo's but completely new structures added to the 100 year old single storey building. They are complete with all modern designs and styles. The Baker Street side condo - Unit A - has a 24 x 4 foot deck looking out on the street. The Alley side condo - Unit B - has a 12 x 19 foot deck with incredible views of the famous Pulpit Rock, Flagpole trail and Elephant Mountain. Both decks have Weber Natural Gas Barbques. Both units also have 1 king bed in master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. We also offer 1 cot for an additional $10.00 per night if required.

Pat and Sue were welcoming and responsive, the unit was clean and fully functional. Great location, downtown historic Nelson. Tips for future guests: access to the unit is not trivial. Code for lockbox for keys, two doors to unlock, another code for the unit. Instructions were complete and accurate, but you have to follow them carefully.Lots of stairs to climb. 39 steps from the back, 25 from the front. Internet access was slow and intermittent. Bottom line: we enjoyed our stay, we'd come back, good value, highly recommended.

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. Right on Baker street and we walked to every store and restaurant and kept our vehicles in the parking garage located in the alley. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Complete with a coffee bean grinder to help with our espresso martinis! We would definitely stay here again. The fireplace didn't have very big flames, but it sure put out the heat. It was too cold to enjoy the spacious patio. Maybe next time.

It was a lovely rental, great location, well decorated and very clean and very well equipped It is a lovely place and at the end of some difficult days we came up and sat in front of the fire and felt renewedHowever, the two sections of stairs up to the unit are daunting …we are 72, 78 and 79 and hauling the suitcases up and down, particularly tge second set of stairs was intimidating. Anybody with mobility issues should think twice about this unit.

Great kitchen, fully loaded. 2nd bedroom did not have a closet or dresser for clothing. No dining table only counter to eat on. Washer and dryer were excellent. Great outdoor area if weather is good. Bbq worked great and was a nice bonus. Fabulous location right in the heart of downtown. Hume hotel was right next door and excellent food.

Lovely, modern, fully stocked, great location, enjoyed the big balcony.The cleaning could be better. The hall bathroom shower was not as clean as it should have been, the white towels were stained and grayed, there were items left in the dryer, the throw rugs were damp, the sofa is stained. For the amout of the cleaning fee, we expected better cleaning and not to have to remove the garbage and strip the bedding.

Perfect location
The location is ideal for exploring Nelson and its surrounding areas. It is right in the heart of downtown but very quiet. We walked to shop, eat, drink, go to the Farmer's Market, walk along the water to the park, and walked to the grocery store. Pat is an excellent communicator; we had a bit of an issue right before we left, and he was happy to help us get things figured out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for making meals in, and it is a very comfortable place to just hang out with the family. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time in Nelson. The condo was as it’s listed and is in a perfect spot in Nelson. We were able to walk to dinners, shopping, and the lake. We enjoyed the deck too. I would highly recommend this unit.

This is a wonderful property in the heart of Nelson's downtown core. It is walking distance to all the great shopping and restaurants. The Condo is very well laid out, secure, and clean. Our family would stay here at this hidden gem again when in town.
