Pros: We chose this place for the rooftop hot tub, which did not disappoint. It also has a very nice rooftop patio with lots of tables, chairs, hammocks, and a shade tent.
We loved that it was just off Baker St (the main drag) and that we could walk most places downtown.
Everyone who worked there was pleasant and answered our questions easily.
The Thai restaurant inside the hotel was tasty.
The Nespresso machine in our rooms and foyer were a nice touch.
As well as the nice foyer!
Cons: we were a little disappointed about the parking, though that was clearly mentioned on Expedia and the hotel's website. What was completely lacking was the explanation of what "no elevator" means. We didn't realize that all the rooms were on the second floor. This is not mentioned on the hotel website at all.
The bathroom looked nice but the shower was difficult to move around in and the jets in the photos didn't work. I tried all the settings.
We had the door hanger used to clean our room after the first night because we needed more bath towels, but that didn't happen until the second night (we stayed 3 nights). After the room was made up, we had more towels than before (such as a bath mat and face cloths - this wasn't in response to us saying anything as we didn't realize they were missing until we had them provided)!
No free breakfast wasn't a big deal but we had hoped for some snacks.
