We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that it will feel warm and welcoming with everything you should need for your stay.
We are in Nelson - 5 minutes drive to Tahunanui beach and 7 minutes drive to central Nelson and yet there is the feeling that you are away from it all.

Simplicity and quality - a comfortable queen sized bed, luxury linen, a duvet and a spare one if cold. A hot water bottle for those who get cold feet and in winter an electric blanket is available.

It is glamping with a focus on glamorous ……a cozy insulated double glazed cabin and a covered deck with outside arm chairs , a good hot water outdoor shower with a sea view, a little kitchen with a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and a cooker so you can make simple food - we have a list of excellent Nelson restaurants for something more substantial.
We will be shutting in June for winter for we are best suited for summer ~ we stay open till the end of May for Nelson often has warm sunny autumnal days . Please note that there is no sitting room , TV or board games so it’s not the place to hangout on cold rainy days unless you want to lie in bed and read your book.

We have wifi but for those who are EMF sensitive you can turn it off.

We have a small poodle on the property - and dogs are welcome but only by prior arrangement please.

We are on a hillside and there is a good railing in front of the cabin but due to the steepness of the hillside this property is not for small children. Also it is non smoking - please.

We live in the main house and there are three cabins in the garden. The top one is a bedroom and the middle one an office that is only used occasionally. We respect your privacy and your cabin being a distance from the house plus with the help of the feijoa hedge, hopefully you will feel a sense of privacy and space.

You will love it here if you are looking fir relaxation and peace…..it’s cosy, calm and tranquil with a wonderful sea view.

Please nb I have now set a minimum of two nights stay due to the amount of washing required for nightly turn arounds - if however you want to stay one night please contact me - there will be an extra $50 charge for laundry and cleaning.
