"Very clean rooms. Super helpful staff. Bakery on property was AMAZING, though we wished they opened earlier. Restaurant/bar was also very convenient and yummy. Location was great, so close to the Met Government Building"

SOTETSU GRAND FRESA TAKADANOBABA
10/10 Excellent
"My daughter and I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient — you can walk just a few minutes in any direction and find local shops, street food, cafés, and small boutiques that really show the neighborhood’s character. It’s also very easy to get around: the total travel time to Shibuya crossing, including walking and train, is about 30 minutes, which made exploring the city simple and stress‑free. The room was spotless, genuinely cleaner than many places I’ve stayed. Amenities were more than enough, with everything well stocked and thoughtfully provided. The staff are well‑trained, polite, and very professional, reflecting Japanese hospitality standards. One of the best parts is the atmosphere around the hotel — hundreds of local shops and food stalls nearby, perfect for anyone who enjoys discovering everyday Tokyo life. Con: English ability is limited, even among hotel staff, so communication may require patience or simple phrases. Overall, a perfect stay in a convenient, lively, and comfortable location."

APA Hotel Shinjuku Gyoemmae
10/10 Excellent
"Everything top notch. AC turn off each time you leave your room, don't forget to turn it back on and set it to 24C, it will blow cold air anyways because its so hot and humid in the halls in July. Great breakfast for 2600 Yen (2400 if you by day before). Tolet was a pleasure to use, water temperature setting and auto bath fill stop is nice."

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo
10/10 Excellent
"The room was cleaned well everyday. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful and have someone on staff everyday that can help if you don't know Japanese however Google translate works great. Check in process was super fast and seamless. There are 2 train stations walking distance super close by. Right in front and back of the hotel there is starbucks, family mart, and 7/11. It's also very close to a McDonald's. The hotel has restaurants as well but did not try. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, which I hear is not common at all hotels in this area. I definitely feel that it was a great deal through expedia at the price that we got. Staff was super nice. I would definitely stay here again."
