「 We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. 「The renovated Barn was beautiful. It had everything we needed. The views of the river were gorgeous it is in a central location very quiet. The extra shed was nice to spend time in because one of my sons is allergic to mosquitoes . We also had an amazing adventure on the river. We rescued a barn owl that was stuck in fishing line hanging from a tree. So amazing. We would stay here in a heartbeat again.」

Lots of sunny windows with a view of the lake which was just beginning to thaw from its winter freeze. The cabin was both roomy and cozy. 」

「House is very nice, very clean and has everything you need! Comfy beds and plenty of room for everyone. Wautoma is only 9 minutes away if you need anything. The lake is small (as indicated) but it’s so clean and the bottom is mostly sand. Great Lake for family fun! ( not so great for fishing) We really enjoyed our long weekend there!」

The combination of the twists and angles in the steps with the steeply slanted walls of the A frame will be challenging for those with even minor mobility issues.」
