Spring Break Trip

The house was super cute and spacious, my husband and I had a wonderful weekend exploring the area, everything was close to the property which was really nice. The bed was comfortable and amenities were nice.

Wonderful in Wimberly

Went on girls trip for a couple of days of hiking, relaxing, just hanging out by the firepit, cooking etc…. It held up to every expectation we had!!! So awesome, we will be back

Very nice, relaxing cottage

Second time stay and love the little house. It's a short ride from downtown, very quite with lots of room on the river to explore. It could use a better cleaning. Kitchen countertops and table were not wiped down and shower walls needs a deep clean. needscleaning.sndown

Love this place!

We loved this place. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. Quiet location. Great amenities. Hippie Hot tub was fun. Hope to return.

Cabin outside Wimberley

Perfect weekend getaway Location convenient to area activities understanding that a 10-15 min drive is the trade off for being in the country Would come back in spring or fall when there is more water in the creek. Excellent spot for our purposes.

Perfect Vacation Place for Spring Break

The place is nice and clean. It is located in a very quiet, peaceful area, away from roads and the city. The host is very kind and generous. You can hike outside and enjoy the creek. My son had a blast in the hot tub outside. Overall, we had a great time staying here.

Great location close enough to sites and far enough for seclusion. Home had everything but coffee but no problem because the store is only a short drive away. Loved getting to visit with Pete next door (owner).

Birthday celebration

We came to Wimberley for our first time to celebrate my husbands birthday. We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The owner lives next door and was eager to make us feel like family. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us. Thank you!

Quiet time

Great location for some quiet time. Gorgeous little cottage with all the necessities — cooking, Keurig, towels. Outside there was patio furniture and lounge chairs. FYI: we had absolutely zero cell service but the property internet was awesome.

Country Getaway!

I loved this place! It was super clean, and felt very luxurious! The linens are divinely soft and comfortable beds! We loved the hippy hot tub! I only have 2 complaints. The first, the Hippy Hot Tub needs a better draining system, and the second is please fix the back door the porch. The deadbolt isn’t aligned and we couldn’t lock the door for our entire stay!

Country getaway

My husband and I are wanted a quiet weekend getaway for our birthdays. We found this little house we found to be just that. It’s out in the middle of now where which is what we wanted. Not to be taken the wrong way but it reminded us of your grandmas house, very quaint, back in time. It rained the whole time which was unfortunate because we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors but it still was nice.

Great quiet spot near natural beauty

We really enjoyed this place. The creek and outdoor area were fantastic, and it felt very private despite being in a neighborhood. The bed, linens, even the pillows (I almost took one with me they were so nice for my neck and back!), and all amenities were just right for the price. The windows in the converted sunroom make early mornings and evenings especially pleasant. Drawbacks were the property across the street when approaching the house- not real friendly for a walk in the area, but as I said the backyard space made up for that. The DVD player didn’t work for us, but I know most folks don’t watch dvds anymore anyway. We’re old school! Short distance to Wimberley sights and fun. The restaurant right down the street really is fantastic, can’t remember the name. Thanks very much for the clean and adequate quarters!
