Perfect weekend

It was very easy to check in, they had my paperwork ready to go, the blonde lady did a really good job explaining the procedures. It was one of the fastest check in processes I've ever done. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and had more than enough amenities available for use, cute soaps were displayed beautifully. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Perfect place for a getaway

Perfect place to stay. The condo was a nice size for our family. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and cozy. Property was clean and for a holiday weekend it was surprisingly quiet. It is in a great location. It's just a few steps to the river and tube rentals. It had a nice pool and hot tub and a few other amenities. It just a couple blocks walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. It was just a 8 minute ride to Gruene. I highly recommend Grandma's River Haus.

Classic lil spot

We stayed for a couple nights in this unit to enjoy some time away from home and float the river. Very clean, everything we needed was available. Full access cable. We texted the management company, and they were kind and responsive. We brought our own tubes, but having them available there would’ve been an amazing surprise. But not expected! Thanks for a great weekend! We’ll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For whatever your reason or time of year for being in New Braunfels, this property is perfect. You have exclusive access to the Comal River, with an easy return walk after the chute. You can make an easy 2-block walk to the lovely downtown and visit the local businesses. Get a kolache at Naeglin's, a burger at Muck & Fuss, pizza at Calahan's, and enjoy live music at the Pour Haus & The Phoenix. Plus boutique shopping at The Local, Henne Hardware and so many more. I enjoyed a long-term stay for 8 weeks in April & May, while working remote. I took advantage of the location to everything New Braunfels has to offer, with short drives to Gruene and I-35 access. The unit was clean, space for storage, nice shower, covered parking. I had a friend join me for a weekend and we had plenty of room with the 2 of us. The NB Escapes staff was very responsive to requests and questions. I am happy to answer any questions about the unit or things to do in the area.And keep an eye out for deer in the evenings.

Vacation didn't happen and wasted $600

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, we had to cancel my daughter's birthday trip for June 23-25. We lost three family members in a horrific tragedy. The rental company didn't even express much sympathy or caring for our situation. It wasn't their problem. I won't rent from them again. I can't anyway, they have their money and my daughter's birthday present won't happen this year. As far as the property conditions, I don't know but the form forced me to put something down.

Fleas in pull-out Couch

Was not clean! Fleas bites when sleeping in the pull-out couch. All Beds were horrible and old mattresses! Dishes were dirty when we arrived! Restroom not clean in the edges. The walls have dust and rug was dirty. Location is great, pool is great and the river is great. People were friendly!
