Hidden Gem

We immediately fell in love with this little hide away in Gruene. Even though there are many cabins here, each one is situated for privacy so you feel like you’re in your own private backyard. The cabin was very clean and had all the necessities. Perfect for a weekend stay! We really enjoyed it.

What a cute little cabin for our weekend getaway. Great rustic decor! The location is awesome, just minutes from Gruene and downtown News Braunfels. Alison at Itrip was very helpful booking our trip! A Quick and Easy process!

We really liked this property to get out in nature and plenty of room around us. The property was clean, well kept, and the yurt was comfortable and roomy. It is within a short drive to many wineries and activities. Having said that, if you are not comfortable in the outdoors, this is probably not the place for you. We had a dog with us and it was great for tor him. We had "interesting" weather during our stay. Several thunderstorms which were loud in the yurt but we always felt safe. The weather was cooler than normal so we stayed comfortable. During hot weather, the yurts will be a little warm in the day time. The last half mile to the property is gravel road and you will have to park a ways from your yurt. I highly recommend renting the golf cart to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful.

WOW! This was just right. Love the whole area. Very clean and as advertised. Love the rustic look and the modern amenities combine. Private little area for us and our dogs. Had a great time. We definitely recommend and come again.

Charming and clean with lovely grounds... a bit chilly though and could not figure out how to calm the a/c down.

Perfect for Wurstfest or Tubing.

Small place perfect for a couple. Has an old cabin in the woods feel to it. Just bring your own coffee pot with you and enjoy.

Rustic Cabin

We stayed in the cabin on the property. It was comfortable and clean. Located in the back corner so it was very quiet and private. The cabin is very rustic so don't expect the Four Seasons. The property was a collection of houses and buildings that are Victorian or rustic Texas farm house. Spacious and quiet. It is within walking distance of downtown Green. If the weather is hot and humid like when we were there, you will want to take the short drive. It is also close to restaurants, shops, and New Brunfels. Overall, it was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our time there.

Cute -but small- cabin

Cute little cabin. We were there for a wedding and the cabin was literally on the other side of the fence from the venue so very convenient. I would probably not rent this one again since for not too much more money I could have rented a more spacious place on the same site. The bathroom had a sloped roof so not much head space for someone tall. We did have an issue with the bathroom electrical socket not working and they came out immediately and fixed it.
