"The stay there was just fine. There were several areas that had potential but didn’t quite make it. However, I give the Robert Treat Hotel as excellent in the convenience/location area. It sits in the ideal location for all downtown Newark activities and entertainment. Restaurant and sports/show venues are all within walking distance. "

The parking was a bit hectic because of the snow but we made it work and parked in the back which was closer to the elevator so it worked out better. The staff was on point and answered the questions I had. I’d definitely book again if I have to stay in Newark."

"Clean rooms and helpful staff - only concern was directions on how/where to catch shuttle….but we do eventually figure that out. Breakfast area was nice and spacious - we were able to DoorDash meals and sit out in the open area and eat at the tables without being cramped in rooms. Was bummed the restaurant wasn’t open - but they had some great recommendations that delivered and were yummy. Great stay for the price!!"

"My children and I traveled from North Carolina to go to American dream mall Nickelodeon theme park and after a long drive and tons of fun we had the Absolute best stay here. "Instructions to get into the room was detailed and helpful. The room was adequate enough. There were some few things that were not the greatest, but for the price it was ok. It also depends who else is staying in the other rooms. The neighborhood was not great. It is really sketchy, homeless people walking around and sleeping on steps. "I had a very early event in NYC and required a place to lay my head for an early to bed/early to rise night sleep. Location was perfect for access to the train into NYC. This room was ideal for that purpose. I was checked in quickly, had off-street parking, and the room was supplied with all I needed. I slept well and was able to attend my event on time and refreshed. I would definitely stay again if a similar need arose. "
