Don't let your eyes fool you

We arrived pretty late after driving all day from Jersey. Prior to our departure I had to reach out and get arrival information (such as the door unlock code). When we arrived we were hit with a weird smell in the house. The pictures online didn't match the location at all - I actually thought was I in the right house??? After driving all day we needed to settle in as we were going to be out bright and early. My wife went to use the shower and to her surprise the bathroom windows were all to see. The "lovely" rainfall shower had their knobs reversed as she didn't have any hot water - I found out the following day that if you opened the valve every so slightly the water came out hot.... No blinds or covers on windows. No blanket or anything on of the rooms. Some closet doors were not properly installed - safety concern! Seems entire house was DIYed. I would stay clear of this house!! The following morning we came out to find out when we arrived last night that I was inches away from puncturing my rental car tire with a 6" nail.
