Walk to Penn station

All in all this stay was ok. Host was good in communication. It was about a 10/15 minute walk to Newark Penn station. The place was well stocked w kitchen amenities. The unit could use a fresh coat of paint. Main window shade broken so had to hand roll each AM. Nice washer and dryer in unit although we didn’t use. Walk to Whole Foods and a little market around the corner.

The apt was clean and attractive. Sheets are soft, bed is comfortable. Within walking distance of Penn Station Newark and The Prudential Center. The surrounding neighborhood is a little rough, but I felt safe enough to walk at night with my 3 young children. The virtual key is great, no need to fumble with those locked key boxes. Building is nice and clean. There is a parking lot just behind the building, $9/ 12 hrs. The only down side, nothing can change this, there is construction surrounding the building and they start at 6 am, very loud, woke me reach morning. My stay was during the week, so maybe weekends are more quiet. My kids were able to sleep through it for the most part.
