The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable which is always the most important. They allowed us an early check in which was wonderful! However, the few things that occurred during our stay and why I have the rating I did is because: 1. They wanted to charge me a breakfast buffet price for just a coffee. 2. The service in the restaurant was not good. 3. There was no coffee out for the guests. 4. When had questions, felt like we were bothering them. It’s a great location to the Prudential Center and Newark Penn Station but would not feel safe walking around the area at night without a group of people.

Charging your hotel guests who are already paying for the Room $20 per night is really unnecessary and just a cash grab because they can. they don't have a bathtub in any of the rooms only a small single shower so if you have small children keep that in mind. They also have no water refill stations on site. You need to buy their overpriced water at the checkout desk or uber eats your own water from 7/11. Please provide the basic essentials of free water and parking to your paying customers.

They did not have the room type I booked which was for a family to have a queen and bunk beds, they had to send up a cot which was horrible to sleep on. Why did I not get the room type I reserved! Very annoying

I made my reservation last September. When I arrived, they could not find my reservation. After about 10 minutes, they gave me a room. They said that the reservation was in Expedia but not in their system.

check in. Our reserved king room was put in what he called maintenance and said he did not know why. Did not tell us that the elevator required our room card to operate. Told us nothing about the internet. Told us nothing about breakfast. When I went to the desk to ask about the internet he pointed at a plachard with the information. He was eating and talking to someone on the phone video. The restaurant was beautiful, but service people were sitting around and talking when people were seated. Like anyone, we paid good money for sub par service.

Hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The wait time was fairly long for the restaurant downstairs. Other than that no other complaints.
