「The woman that checked us in was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. All the necessary soaps and linens were available. The bed was a little softer than we are used to, but still very comfortable. The A/C unit was easy to control. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fresh! A good assortment of cereals, bakery items, juice, hot items (make your own waffles, a pre-made omelet tea, sausage patties and home fries). Would definitely book this hotel again.」

「My room was not as clean as I was hoping. There was still leftover stuff on the stove that I scrubbed off. The pans and stuff all had this weird film to it even after I washed it. The cups didn’t feel or look super clean and my sheets and pillow had little hairs on it. Although I asked for new sheets those had hair too so I shook everything off and tried to move on. The room itself was great and super spacious just felt like it overall could’ve been cleaner. Even the carpet seemed a little old....

「We stayed one night . It was adequate for our needs. This hotel has nothing special . Everything worked in our room. I would only stay here if you needed a place to sleep while traveling.」

「The location of this property was great, on the perimeter of downtown Portsmouth which is a wonderful little city. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, both for good selection and the taste. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in my room. The AC unit is the loudest I've ever heard. A few times I thought it was a nearby train when it started running. Also the people in the room above me woke me up at 1 AM doing something. I didn't hear voices...

I chose a family room, that can accommodate 5 people. The price is very cost-effective and the stay experience is good! It is worth recommending this hotel.」

「The room was nice and pretty, and we were able to get in a little early, but I did not feel as though it was that clean. the room smelled musty in some areas, and there were spiders in others. I am glad we were there for only one night.」

「This property was on my wish list as I have walked by it many times and imagined staying there with that view. The staff was very helpful and parking was easy. Our rooms were in the original building with the water view and outside deck. Although very clean, they definitely need updating- squeaky slider doors, noisy air conditioner, and the size of the bathroom was smaller than small. I guess I expected more for that price point.」

「Mattress was comfortable but we did have to ask for a set of sheet for the pull out couch. Staff was polite, breakfast was basically good though I had 3 kids with me that wanted pancakes but the pancake maker was broken. The cinnamon rolls were amazing! Location was convenient. Pool area was very tidy and clean and did have towels available. There was no coffee pot in the room.
