The Space:

The living areas in this home consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric double oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine chiller, and Smart TV, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a sitting room with Smart TV, a snug, and a games room with pool table, table football, table tennis. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with en-suite shower room, a king-size with en-suite shower, a king, a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed front garden, and an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, furniture and hot tub, and a private driveway for three cars. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair, travel cot and stairgate. You'll find a shop in 0.3 miles, a pub in 0.4 miles, and the beach in 0.7 miles. Lavender House is a wonderful base for a family break to Cornwall. Note: There are steps in the rear garden. Please note: no stag party hen or similar. Please note: During Spring, Summer, and Autumn English school holiday periods, this property is available for 7-night stays only. Flexibility for short breaks is permitted during Boardmasters week only.



The Neighborhood:

The little Cornish settlement Crantock is near to the well-known resort of Newquay and is only a short stroll from the beach. Here is the place to be if you want to avoid the crowds while yet being near to the activity. Although there is beautiful land all around and many charming villages to visit, the coast predominates. Experience fantastic surfing on beaches that span from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the heart of Newquay and on down the coast, as well as wonderful hikes along the coastal path over stunning clifftops. Several golf courses, National Trust estates, quaint pubs, and top-notch restaurants are located nearby. The Marine Life Centre, Newquay Zoo, adjacent Dairyland, and the Eden Project are just a few of the attractions in and around Newquay that make it a visitor's dream.
