Looking for some peace and quiet? But want to still be close to the city for shopping/work/going out? Annie-Dee’s offers the perfect solution. One double bedroom with shower bathroom and an open plan living room with dining area and kitchen (hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, press grill and kettle) plus fully stocked with plates/cutlery and kitchen utensils. Located in rural Ravara, Co. Down there are beautiful walks and gorgeous countryside to enjoy, along with National Trust gardens and the historic small town of Saintfield only 2 miles away. If you feel like hiking the Mourne mountains and forest parks are close by, or why not go to the beach? Bring your dog and have even more fun. If you’re wanting a little city life however Belfast is only 10 miles away, perfect for dinner or an evening out. We also offer electric vehicle charging - payment required.

  • St. John’s Point Lighthouse was first exhibited in 1844. The original lighthouse was painted white. In 1902 three black bands were added. Its current markings of black with two yellow bands have been in place since 1954. The color of the light was changed from white to red on 1st July 1860. The tower was originally only 14m tall. It was extended to its current dizzying height of 40m in the 1880's and is now the tallest onshore lighthouse on the Irish coast. The lighthouse was automated in 1981.
