It is not a four star hotel. Few amenities in the rooms, if any. No fridge, no mini-bar, no coffee making facility in the room; no comfortable seating in the room. Some staff were great, others were miserable. The internet was okay, TV okay, food was pretty good. They advertise laundry services but they should advertise, "Laundry available hit and miss". With me it was "miss". I was promised that if I brought my laundry on a Friday it would be ready by Monday. However,I was told, on Friday, that 'she' wasn't driving today!! Okay, you do not have facilities on site. THEREFORE YOU DO NOT HAVE LAUNDRY SERVICE!! The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful. It is, however, out of the way; if you want to go to Nijmegen proper, be ready to pay top dollar for taxis or learn to walk a kilometre and navigate the buses. The buses in Holland are good and plentiful. They should call it a two star hotel because people would have low expectations and would be pleasantly surprised. But by calling it a four-star, they raise expectations too high and, consequently, breed disappointment in their guests. Not at all bad, but not a 4 star.

The room temerature was 37.4 degrees, no air-con. Only one powerpoint in the room incl. bathroom. Got ext. lead allowing my wife to dry her hair in bathroom, towels had make-up stains from previous guests. Room had a bed, two chairs and a little table. Nothing even close to what to expect from a 4-star rating. Location is great.

searching for a hotel online is very hard. You do not see the difference between A or B. This hotel was perfect. I recommend to have a drone style video of the hotel. Much easier to point out what the hotel is all about. See you next time!

Berg en Dal Spring Break
It was an excellent location; peaceful atmosphere; good size indoor pool which we used every day; very clean; friendly + helpful staff; good breakfast choices available; evening dining was superb. This hotel suited our family needs totally. Access and parking easy.
