For this Price such a nice Hotel in a forrest aeria near Nijmegen.
The Hotel was unexpected nice. Nice and friendly personal. Clean rooms.
Breakfast was good.
The beds are a Little to soft for me, but that is The only negative thing.
Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable and good location, handy for public transport into city. Option to hire ordinary bicycles would be good and not just e-bikes especially when travelling with teenagers. Did not find the staff to be the most friendly or helpful
Very nice hotel. Looks a little dated on the outside, but very nice inside, with many renovations completed. The bed was small however comfortable. Best part was the heating which worked very well, helping me recover from being under the weather for a few days. Enjoyed a great dinner at their restaurant, very nice atmosphere. And much praise to the front desk staff who were so helpful - thank you. Easy to reach by bus number 8 from Nijmegen central station. Overall, very enjoyable.
We had a leaky sink in our room due to a pipe ring being loose. For some reason, maintenance thought that was caused by our toiletry bags and the housekeeping staff putting towels under the sink. Not sure how towels and bags loosen a pipe ring. Either way, it was dealt with. The stay would have been more pleasant if not for the conference attendees for the bridge tournament, who were extremely rude and overly self-entitled, but that is not the hotel's fault. Having said that, I would seriously reconsider allowing them to book the hotel for further functions if you wish to retain repeat clients like ourselves. Ness in the restaurant was fabulous and a great asset to your company. She was attentive and professional and should be commended, especially putting up with the bridge conference attendees.
Great points: Staff were helpful and professional when asked. Check in/out out was smooth. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom is also spacious as well. Two separate beds but together as booked. Pillow selection on offer. Breakfast was included with a selection of warm and cold choices. View is lovely from the side/back of the hotel, especially restaurant area.
Notable points: Beds were on the soft side. If you stay to the front of the hotel, there will be noise from everyone coming and going. Bring ear plugs. Rooms aren't completely soundproof. Most noise came from the balcony area. Pool limited but clean. Bring your own towel and/or bathrobe. Access is limited to the pool area due to swimming lessons in that little pool. Paid sauna only. Very limited place to work in the room. Wifi was spotty. No desk, just the little table in the picture on the website.
For dinner at the hotel, make a reservation.
Not so great points: Parking situation is bad. Limited space isn't comtroled. When people park badly taking 2 spots in a limited area parking is full most of the time. Lines aren't clearly noted. Non handicap car busted down in handicap parking.
Overall: We will still go back in the future but book a better room towards the back of the hotel. As a last minute booking to be close to the hospital, this was our best option. Love the area and would.love the chance to explore it more.
Breakfast ok
Spa opening time not favourable for me as started at 7am but when you needed the most after a day of walking was out of bound because of lessons until 7pm week days, so i
Hotel is old and tired staff dont seam to care about customers . Was told no need to book table for dinner then told it was full but lots of empty tables also told no breakfast included so had to pay €55 for 3 of us.
Paid local tax on arrival but on departure told i had only paid for 1 room so another €3.
Out of 4 hotela on this trip by far the worst
It seems more and more young people are employed resulting in a somewhat autistic reception. Renovation has been done nicely, but bad insulation of sewagepipes and frontdoors. People in the hallway sound like they are in the room.
Mooie en schone kamer. Mannelijke medewerker bij het diner heeft ons goed geholpen door een plekje achteraf in t restaurant uit te zoeken ivm onze dochter die in de kinderwagen lag.
