"I really like the location of this hotel/onsen. It's right on the river and you can hear and view it as you soak in the onsen or as you're enjoying tea in your room. The staff tried their best to help us in english. Between that and Google we were able to figure things out. The only disappointment is that meals were included but we were never told that we had to reserve and same day reservations are not permitted. "料理と温泉がとても良い。料理は、夕食が部屋食、朝食は会場でしたが、とても美味しくいただきました。部屋食では、仲居さんと女将さんが交互に料理を運んでくれますが、会話も楽しく、弾みました。また、源泉かけ流しの白濁した温泉は、塩原温泉自体がホテルの大型化で少なくなっているなか、とても貴重です。風呂で一緒になったリピーターの方も、やはり温泉と料理に魅力を感じているとのことで、同感です。また、到着後、チェックインしてから茶菓子のサービスに始まり、部屋までの案内など、従業員のサービスも良く、好感が持てます。また、部屋ではWiFiが使えます。なお、通された部屋は、清潔ですが、眺望がないのが残念。また、隣の部屋の客の声も聞こえ、これがマイナス要素です。"
