Amazing location

The company prefaces what you should be expecting in terms of quality, which we were completely okay with. We booked this place because of the amazing location 2 min walk from beach and for the price. It had everything you needed and was all working in proper condition. Bed was comfy. Check in process could be streamlined better (check spam folder of email). If you try to message the host, you won't get a reply for at least a day because it goes through RedAwning vacation rentals.

We Had A Great Time

I will give an 8/10 review for this property. We were very pleased with everything for the price. I feel like it was a great bargain and will definitely be staying here again. The property is as advertised. It is an older property and it does show it's age. However it was very clean and very cozy. It's actually set up like a small apartment. The main room has a bed, two night stands with lamps, an ottoman, a comfy chair, a small cabinet and a smart TV. There is a small foyer area that has a closet with clothes rod and shelves inside. There were two beach chairs in the closet and a light in the foyer. There is a separate room for the kitchen, which is fully stocked with all cookware, utensils, dinnerware and silverware. There is a microwave, coffee pot and a toaster oven, a full sized fridge and a stove with oven. Also has table and chairs. The chairs were a bit wobbly but they held up. The microwave does work but there is an issue with plugging it in because the cord doesn't reach. There was an extension cord but it was not compatible with the microwave. There is a full bathroom and two towels were provided, along with hand soap and shampoo. Cleaning items (broom, dustpan, dish towels, toilet brush and plunger) were all in site. The broom was broken, though, so I bought a new one and left it here at the property for the next person. There is wifi, but the Wi-Fi log in information provided on the check in sheet was wrong. Cute get away

It was just as it shows, it’s a cute place, the communication with host was really good. It a quiet little place, it was my first time in that area and I would definitely book again.

Pet friendly, close to a brewery (Bold Mariner, highly recommend; they have coffee in the mornings and beer, food and ice cream in the evenings), and on the beach! Not much to do in a walkable vicinity but both Norfolk and Virginia beach are a driveable distance (20-30 minutes), which is exactly what we were looking for. There was also most everything we could need in a 5-10 minute driving radius, including groceries, a dog park, and a public beach park. Could be loud with traffic at times and a few things needed minor fixes, but overall great value for it's price. It was clean and had the necessities. One of the few properties that didn't restrict number of pets or breeds, so that was a plus for us with our 4 dogs. Surprisingly didn't feel cramped for having all of us in a studio. Grateful for this lil getaway before the end of summer that allowed us the convenience of going to the beach whenever we wanted.
