The AC was broken on my first night, and the customer service was terrible, completely unattended. Every time we ask for a simple task it was a problem and attitude.

The beds were terrible -- too soft, saggy, and just worn out. We had to move rooms after 1 night because there was no hot water on the 2nd floor. The breakfast buffet was OK, but some hot food items were cold. You should add a microwave oven so guests can reheat cold food.

We didn’t have air conditioning either day so it was uncomfortable to be in the room. We notified the staff and they had someone working on it but it never got fixed.As of right now I’m waiting for some form of compensation.

Traveling by myself, I was not pleased with having to park across the street from the hotel and there was an additional cost to the parking since I would need to come and go a few times. Additionally, in the evening/night there were quite a number of emergency vehicles passing by making it difficult to get to/stay asleep. For the amount I paid for the room, this is quite disappointing.

Staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t very good. All the hot food was barely warm, and the staff couldn’t keep up. The tv and internet is very slow. But, still a good hotel.

Room was clean, everything worked, plenty of soap/shampoo in pump dispensers in shower. Mattresses super (too) firm. Housekeeping only showed up once on a 4-night stay with 2 adults and 3 kids registered in a room.

The location was convenient to the arena and all the waterside attractions in downtown Norfolk. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was amazing. Brett was outstanding, friendly and attentive. He was always busy helping other guests and helping clean up during breakfast. All in all, the stay was exceptional.
