    This 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom 1500 square foot house sits directly on the beach and only steps away from the Ocean View Fishing Pier and Rooftop Bar and Grill, and is conveniently located near Downtown Norfolk, Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Chic's Beach, Old Dominion University, Christopher Newport University, the Navy and Air Force bases, and many other attractions! There is WiFi, 50" Smart TV in the living room, 40" smart TVs in each bedroom, memory foam mattresses, 4x window AC units with heat pumps to keep the house very comfortable, and a kitchen with basic essentials. There is a washing machine at this house and a clothesline, no dryer.
    The first picture is the view from the back porch of the house.
    There is a queen bed in bedroom 1 and two twin beds in bedroom 2. If you need to use the sofa bed or additional twin bed stored in the sunroom, please request linens for those ahead of time. Brand new arcade machine just installed! (June 2026)

Great location! The house is old but had everything needed for a casual beach experience. The pier is so close and the restaurant was very good and had a beautiful rooftop area.

We really enjoyed the beachfront house. We came to see the sail250 parade and it was a blast getting to see the ships from the house. The house was roomy, ac was cool and the beach view was great

The place was exactly as described, very clean and private which is what a couple of 60 years olds loved. The only thing was couldn't /didn't use the charcoal grill, it was not cleaned since last use and was pretty nasty. It was too hot to cook outside anyway. We loved it there and may go back next year.

A bit run down for sure. Kitchen not stocked appropriately. There were 3 of us and not enough towels and only 2 coffee cups. Had a really nice ice maker on the counter.

The location was amazing! It was actually roomy. Parking easy. Needs a bathroom update with the shower!!! There is a washer but NO DRYER.

Alot of issues with this place... outside was over grown and couldnt hardly see the ocean from deck..to much weekend traffic in and out of the parking lot for the pier...alot of thumping stereos and people hanging out in the parking lot. ..was not satisfied at all...too much money for so little..

Stay here if location and cleanliness are your top priorities. The house is on the beach and right next to the fishing pier, so some noise but not too much. The house is old, very run down and dysfunctional in its layout. It lives up to its description on the VRBO site as rustic. That said, the house was very clean and tidy it had all the necessities. Would not recommend it for small children due to some creative electrical work.

It reminded me of my uncle's beachfront home in the 70's in Md. Nothing fancy but comfortable, private and a lot of good memories. Very nice beach is so close to the house and this location is convenient to get to everything. Make sure you try the steamed crabs at Graham and Rollins' Hampton Seafood market just 12 miles away.
