Check in was a long wait as there were a lot of people checking in at the same time. The room was clean and well furnished but the lighting was very poor. Used my cell phone light to operate the microwave and TV because the lights were so dim. I also think $30 per day for parking is excessive.

I really enjoyed my stay this past weekend, however I did have some trouble reaching the front desk of the hotel. The phone rung several times and I called back until I got someone. I was having a muscle spasm and I was trying to get the restaurant to get me some pickle juice. They finally answered and transferred me to the restaurant, but when the phone rang it just cut me off. So I didn’t call back and I just delt with the pain until it stopped. Other than that I didn’t have any issues.

The staff was great, we were traveling with family from ohio and we were able to get checked in early. Pet friendly, which is amazing. Overall great hemisphere. My only issue was I left behind my personalized Stanley in the room while switching rooms and when I went back to get it, I was told by housekeeping that it was thrown in the trash because it was not considered a “valuable” Im pretty upset about that, since I couldn’t get it back. Just wish they would have actually took it to lost & found like the front desk thought it would be, definitely a valuable to me. Housekeeping management never got back to me.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our Anniversary at Delta Hotel Virginia Beach. When we arrived on Sept 1 around 6pm, the two ladies at the front desk were excellent. The welcoming made me feel important. Now, one thing that I didn't agree with is the $30 a day parking fee for customers staying at your hotel. I have never had to pay for parking at any hotel. In my opinion, it's an additional money grabber the hotel is making from customers. After parking and entering our hotel room, everything seemed ok. The carpet had a mildew odor and needed to be cleaned. We looked in the bathroom and the toilet room floor was dirty. The ceiling was repaired but looked bad. The repair was a quick patch job. The sliding door rail had rust on it. We left out of the bathroom and looked at the bedroom. Again, the carpet smelled horrible. The return vent to the air conditioner had a build-up of dust on it. I have sinus issues, and this room wasn't pleasing me at all. I tried not to make our Anniversary unpleasant, so I didn't say much about the room to my wife but had some regrets staying at Delta. These complaints can be fixed! I don't blame the employees because employees will only do what is allowed. The blame is on MANAGEMENT. If management did spot checks on employees, these things would not happen. Dry cleaning carpet with odor neutralizer, scrubbing floors, wiping air conditioner vents, and having a good maintenance crew, I wouldn't be writing this survey. Overall, average rating.

Very large room with beautiful ocean view. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Very nice clean private beach. A lot of good restaurants in the area.

We loved our suite and our stay here. The pool could have been bigger but it was still clean and nice to sit by the pool. Also we loved the fact they had beach access and beautiful views of the chesapeake bay bridge!

Do not go by the pictures on their website because that is not the type of room you will get. I paid for an ocean view two bedroom, suite and from my window I could see parking lot and condominiums. The customer service staff was great, but the rooms are not that good. If you’re looking for a oceanfront beach resort, please don’t consider Delta Hotel.

The hotel itself was nice. It was clean and modern. However, there are many additional fees that were not communicated or advertised. Most hotels in that price range included other amenities such as parking (30 dollars per night wow), additional charges for seating at the beach and other beach equipment. No continental breakfast included. For this price range, I would not suggest this hotel nor would I stay there again.

Llegamos a las 11:00 pm y nuestra reservación la habían cancelado a las 8pm por que supuestamente pasaron nuestra tarjeta para cobrar una noche y no pasó la tarjeta, sin embargo no enviaron ningún correo ni hicieron una llamada para confirmar que si llegaríamos y simplemente cancelaron la reservación y cuando llegamos después de diez horas de viaje y cerca de la media noche no teníamos donde dormir. Es muy irresponsible también de parte de expidea hacer reservas con opción de pagar en el lugar y ese lugar no respeta las reservaciones simplemente porque uno no llega a las 4pm para hacer el check in. No entiendo esa manera de trabajar mejor no dan la opción de pagar en el lugar y uno evita estos malos ratos en un viaje que es importante para la familia. Creo que no usaré más esta aplicación después de muchos años de haberla utilizado.
