“I get to the property and some kids with the new owernership said the place was closed. Place was recently sold and new ownership is cleaning up the place. The new owners seem good, but the fact this place is listed but not in business is unacceptable. This property should be removed until new owners are back in business. Check with property before booking. I'm sure place will be fine when new owners open up”

I explained that I had an email confirming that I had an early check-in for 2pm and had the email open for him to read and he continued to argue with me that I could not have an early checkin because I did not call. “very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.”

“The resort was amazing! It’s a beautiful property overlooking the lake, and our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable . The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. The sports bar was also a great place to relax and hang out around the fire pit after a full day of activities. We also played a round of golf during our stay. “We had so much fun at this resort. The cabin was perfect and everything was clean and exactly what we expected. The outdoor table and set up was so nice to be able to watch kids play either at the park or the beach, and also just enjoy a morning coffee. We used the boats and kayaks and games room too. Only thing was you have to park at the main area and carry items to your cabin but it’s not far. Would definitely recommend to other families. We will be back!”
