"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

The bakery was a delight as well as the locals trying to make sure we ordered the right coffees. The house is spacious, very clean and the fact each room has an en-suite was great. "Really interesting hotel in a great location with super friendly staff. Mix of business and pleasure meant some great facilities. Rooftop bar and swimming pool were fab. Room was large and there was a great shower. Had a wee bit of an issue with the air conditioning (but that was probably me!!) and the pillows were a bit soft but did spoil my stay. "
