「Very comfortable and a fabulous place to watch the tide come in, with river otters and abundant wildlife. Gorgeous sunsets and moon rises. There was no freezer (it was a hot week in July--I hadn't noticed that in the listing), and no laundry (which had been in the listing, hence the 4 stars for that), but we managed with the local laundromat and daily trips out for gelato and sorbet. Very helpful service when the first entry code didn't work on arrival, and when the smoke alarm malfunctioned. ...

「We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. 」

「This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! 」

「We had such a lovely stay here. It was very tranquil peaceful and the hosts were just spectacular. All the little details that these guys add make such a big difference and let me tell you that breakfast that they make, is absolutely delicious. We took our infant, who is only nine months old and our puppy, and they made a little puppy plate and a little plate for our boy. We had such a lovely day and created some fantastic memories and hope to be back. We cannot thank these hosts enough. 」

「The property was quiet. Everything was well thought of and in good condition. Easy to get to from the ferry and a quick drive to the downtown core of Sydney. The four of us slept like kings. Plenty of tv channels if you have spare time from touristing the beautiful Victoria area. The owner was friendly and explained everything well. As a bonus he has a collector car we admired.
