Disappointed

Very disappointed . First of all it was dirty and outdated. The bathrooms were had black gunk (maybe mold) in the tracks of the shower doors and the fixture in the master bathroom had the same thing in the shower head. We went to the store and bought cleaning products to do it ourselves. There was no point in contacting the manager because they had supposedly just cleaned the house. The floors were dirty ( I was unclogging the ice dispenser that was frozen on the refrigerator and some water went on the floor and when I wiped it up the paper towel was black. Baseboards were dirty and the utensils in the kitchen were grimey. The appliances are old and out dated and very limited on kitchen supplies. The furniture is used up especially the couches. No dressers in bedrooms. Bathroom vents were dirty and one only can imagine what the HVAC ducts look like. Outside there were six yellow jackets next, one by the stairs and the others on the front porch. The gas grill was old and the igniter didn’t work. It also had at least six inches of grease in the bottom because it had never been cleaned. The fencing under the porch area was filthy and the concrete where the outdoor shower was had algae growing (a good pressure washing would do wonders). The steps were full of sand and dirty. Whoever is overseeing this property is obviously not doing their job. When you pay almost $5000 for a week I expect it to be well kept and updated. Shame on the owners and management! Beach access was good.
