Hi JamesI'm a little confused as we have clothes hangers and a bar with a shelf in each room. So not sure how you could not hang clothes anywhere

Pleasant enough pub with accommodation cabins at the back of the car park, it was quiet when I stayed but I can imagine that being so closed to the A5 & right next to the canal the good sized carpark could get very busy. Very limited food menu, but all cooked fresh - so all good !

This property is like a retreat but with no facilities. For the price it should come with breakfast but it’s like for the old salesmen to just sleep and go. The pub didn’t open until 12. The checkout time strictly at 10 meant you had to go find breakfast elsewhere…. There is nothing in the surrounding areas. We needed somewhere to stay after our concert in Northampton but although the place in peaceful the lack of facilities was a let down. The road is very noisy sleep is inturupted all night. There is no one around to request anything. It is very simple to ask if breakfast is needed when booking so the staff at the pub can facilitate. If no one needs anything then it’s fine. Also not everyone takes dairy milk so one is forced to drink black coffee or tea. Since this is the only service in the room yea or coffee it should carter for all. Put it on the questionnaire when booking…. Any special needs

The room was ok to stay for one night. The front door didn’t close properly, corner of door was slightly ajar, but it wasn’t cold outside so it was fine. Bed was fine. Small tv and tea and coffee facilities in room. Countryside around which was nice. Didn’t eat there as was going to party at the dodmoor house up the road, but get ready to be ripped off by the only taxi firm in the area, £15 for a 2 min taxi ride. Crazy. But that’s no fault of the narrowboat ofcourse.

Great room and foor
The chalet style room was in a row of 6 or so at the end of the car park. The room was very comfortable and clean with a great pub at the other end of the car park that served amazing food!!!
